Atravesó varios pueblos y llegó a la cima de una montaña para robar una brasa a la Señora Lumbre. "Con el fuego los hombres fueron hombres y fue así como empezó la historia". Esta leyenda, analizada por el maestro Alfredo López Austin, aparece en varias tradiciones indígenas.
