- "Halcyon faces a fifteen-year sentence after being charged with murder, so her younger sister Evadne offers to carry part of her sentence and tries to uncover the truth behind the supposed crime along the way"--
- Halcyon has been serving in the queen's army. When she reunited with her sister Eavdne earlier than expected, Eva knows something has gone terribly wrong. Halcyon is on the run, hunted by her commander-- and charged with a terrible crime.
