- Mail carrier Gordon Smith prides himself on his ability to handle any canine along his route. But he meets his match in a crime-fighting superdog fleeing the FBI, the witness protection program and the mobsters who all See Spot Run. The day Smith (David Arquette) offers to baby-sit his beautiful neighbor's (Leslie Bibb) son, the runaway bulldog finds sanctuary in Smith's mail truck--on the lam from both FBI agent Murdoch (Michael Clarke Duncan) and the drug lord the dog can finger--sparking a wildly comic adventure that will forever change both man and dog
